★ Who we are Trans-led Community-first

No filters.
No apologies.

Ignite Your Pride is a DIY resource hub and webzine forged by husband-and-wife duo Evan and Nicole. We aren’t interested in being “palatable.” We’re here to share the grit, the resources, and the reality of trans life through our own lived experiences.

★ Our story

Two trans people,
one shared life.

E verything we do is Made with Rage + Love. Rage against the systems that try to quiet us, and radical love for the community that keeps us standing. We believe in the power of Iron & Alchemy: the bone-deep labor of transition and the technical magic of finally becoming yourself.

We don’t just exist in this community; we fuel it. By promoting LGBTQIA+ businesses, showcasing our own ventures, and refusing to sanitize our stories, we are building a future on our own terms. No filters. No apologies. Just the truth.

We’re Nicole and Evan — a married couple in Las Vegas, living the reality of the trans experience every single day. This project didn’t start in a boardroom; it started in the quiet, grit-filled moments of our daily lives, fueled by late-night coffee and a shared realization: we are done waiting to be seen.

Our household is kept grounded by our three companions: Ozzy the Corgi, and our kitties, Una and Lana. Since our marriage in April 2026, we’ve committed to moving beyond the screen to prove every day that we are just people too — fighting, loving, and building a world that finally fits.

The code.

  • No platforming bigots: our existence is not a “debate,” and we won’t treat it like one.
  • No censorship: we won’t clean up our language to make the world comfortable.
  • No gatekeeping: essential resources will never sit behind a paywall.
  • Community fuel: we actively promote LGBTQIA+ businesses and our own creative ventures.

The human promise.

This isn’t a factory; it’s a workshop. We use AI to help us crunch data and find our flow, but we are the ones at the kitchen table making the decisions. We don’t use technology to replace our voices — we use it to amplify them. If it’s on this site, it’s because we stood behind it and said, “This is the truth.”

How we’re funded.

Right now? Out of our own pockets. We are bootstrapped by design. Every cent that goes into this site comes from our own hard work because we refuse to let outside investors sanitize our message.

Eventually, we’ll move toward reader support through memberships and donations, but our primary goal is to build a circular economy within our community. That means:

  • Promoting LGBTQIA+ businesses: we use our platform to lift up others in the community.
  • Showcasing our own: as we grow, this site will become the home for all our personal ventures — from Evan’s writing and technical projects to Nicole’s creative work.

We’ll never take money from advertisers whose values don’t align with ours. If you want to support us, the best fuel you can provide is subscribing to the newsletter and sharing our work with someone who needs it.

★ The founders.

N
Co-founder & Creative Director

Nicole (she/her)

Transwoman. Wife. Punk Drummer. Paladin. Cook. Gamer.

Nicole is an IT specialist and tech nerd who spends her days building automation and her nights reclaiming a life meant for magic. After decades of navigating a world that demanded silence, she’s stepped into the neon light of Las Vegas to build a sanctuary for the chaotic, the resilient, and the unapologetic. She’s a “Kitchen Witch” who believes that putting intention into a meal — or a complex line of code — is a radical act of love.

She’s done with being a “debate topic.” Whether she’s protecting her community in World of Warcraft, 3D printing solutions for the housing crisis, or managing her paranormal project ParaStory, she’s driven by the raw energy of Rage + Love. Married to Evan since their Vegas chapel ceremony in April 2026, she’s the strategist behind the signal, making sure the world hears the rhythm of a community that refuses to be erased.

Co-founder

Evan (he/him)

Transman. Husband. Engine-breaker. Writer. Gamer.

Evan spent years under the hoods of cars and a decade deep in the trenches of supernatural fiction before realizing that if you want a world that actually fits you, you have to forge it yourself. He lives by the code of Iron & Alchemy: the bone-deep labor of transition and the transformative fire of coming out the other side.

He’s done with the sanitized, “palatable” version of transmasculinity. He’s here for the blue-collar reality, the dirt under the fingernails, and the stories of queer life in the West that don’t make it to the big cities. Since marrying Nicole at a Vegas chapel in April 2026, he’s focused on one goal: building a life and a publication that can’t be broken. He builds engines, he builds worlds, and he’s here to make sure you hear the noise.

★ What we stand for

Our values.

01

Community over clicks.

We will never sensationalize violence against our community for engagement. If a story could harm, we’ll tell it carefully or not at all.

02

Clarity over neutrality.

Some questions don’t have two sides. Whether we exist isn’t up for debate. We name bigotry clearly when we see it.

03

Joy is resistance.

We cover the fights, but we also cover the weddings, the chosen families, the small wins. Hope is editorial policy here.

04

Every letter matters.

Lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, intersex, ace, aro, Two-Spirit, and everyone beyond. No one gets crumbs. We rotate coverage intentionally.

05

Accessibility first.

Alt text on images. Content warnings on heavy pieces. Plain-language explainers alongside deep dives. Our community deserves media that works for all of us.

06

Learning in public.

We’ll get things wrong. When we do, we’ll correct publicly, apologize genuinely, and do better. No quiet edits.

Want in? Good.

Whether you want to read, write, submit a story, tip us off to something underreported, or just hang around — you’re welcome here.

Stay loud.
Stay soft.
Stay.
